02)- The second way to cook bacon

Bacon cooked vertically

This simple trick is such a game changer!
In order to help someone, I wanted to offer my bacon frying setup, which is more of a technique than a recipe. I hang the bacon over barbecue skewers over a prepared baking pan using a set of old file cabinet rails. With more bacon fried at once, I find that it cooks crispier and more uniformly. It weighs around 1.5 pounds of thick-cut bacon. Whereas I can often only fit approximately 10 slices on a horizontal pan, I can fit up to 30 slices at once. Usually, I cook at 375°F for 18 to 20 minutes, then check. Because there will be a lot of bacon grease on the tray, remove with caution. Skewer oiling can help with stickiness but is not necessary.

ETA: 375 for 20 yields very crispy bacon for us, which we prefer. Cooked bacon softens a little bit when kept in the refrigerator. If you prefer it chewy, check it after 15 minutes or lower the temperature to 350. From there, you may easily raise it to your preferences.
The barbecue skewers are made for contact with hot food. The uncoated aluminum rack is not in contact with the food and is not coated.

03)- The third way to cook bacon

Bacon and Brussel sprouts are my go-to keto food pairing. Salt, pepper, parmesan cheese, and olive oil are added to the brussel sprouts. Grease from the bacon falls through the top rack. 390 degrees for 35 minutes. Yum!
