Keto Hamburger Buns
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups almond flour
- ¼ cup flaxseed meal
- 2 eggs
- 2 oz cream cheese
- salt to taste
- 2 tsp baking soda
- Topping
- 1 tbsp Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend
Preparation method Keto Hamburger Buns
- Preheat oven to 380 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Whisk together almond flour, flaxseed meal, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside
- In a large, microwavable safe bowl, combine shredded mozzarella and cubed cream cheese and microwave for 90 seconds, stirring halfway through and again at the end
- Stir in beaten eggs and previously whisked dry ingredients
- Knead until a dough forms
- Note: If the dough becomes hard before fully mixed, microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften
- Divide dough into six equal pieces, and roll into bun shapes
- Place on the parchment paper and top with Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend
- Bake until brown (approximately 18 minutes)
- Allow to cook before cutting each in half
