How to freeze keto pancakes
As long as I have this question, How to freeze keto pancakes? can you freeze keto pancakes?
Yes, yes you can! Most pancakes can freeze for 1-2 months. Amazing, right?!
In so many busy families, Saturday and Sunday means there’s time for a hot breakfast and pancakes are often on the menu. Next time you whip up a batch, I suggest doubling it and freezing the extra to heat up on a busy morning.
I can’t think of any type of pancake that cannot be frozen. Of course, our go-to type to freeze is our no-fail recipe for Easy Pancakes. Some other pancakes have a glaze or syrup that go along with the recipe, and in that case I would store the glaze separately.

Once your flapjacks have been made, allow them to cool and prep them to be frozen. There are a few methods you can use:
- Put each pancake in a separate fold top sandwich bag.
- Stack pancakes separating each layer with parchment paper.
- Flash freeze the pancakes: place the cooled pancakes in a single layer on a baking pan. Freeze for 1-2 hours, or until frozen.
- Once you have prepped the pancakes, place them in an airtight freezer safe container. Some options include:
- Freezer Ziplock bags
- Empty Bread bags
- Tupperware
Reheating & side ideas keto pancakes
If you are going to reheat just a few flapjacks, you can use the microwave, toaster or a skillet to warm them up.
If you need to reheat several, I recommend using the oven. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the pancakes in single layer on a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until hot.
